It would be really nice if it was true. If it is, then I think it will serve the memory of Jerry well that you accepted his daughter.
But like @GuntherRommel said, it could be a scam, so one should do their due diligence to verify its authenticity.

She lives in Illinois so a meeting is possible
The young lady went to collage in Louisville KY = 2 Miles across the Ohio River from here..

I am so sorry I just read this.
I remember what it was like when we had to do the same for my Dad.

I did not forgive my mother for a long time, but let me say it was selfish of me.
Looking back it caused everyone including myself alot more heartache and hurt.

Your are a good man and obviously loved your brother.
Take heart that you two shared a lot of good memories and love.
What you did took courage and was and act of mercy and love.
Trust that he knows what you went through and still are going through.
This was the most brotherly thing you two have ever shared.
Prayers, wishes, and good vibes headed your way.

Awesome, I hope you enjoyed it as I frequently do. I have been a life long Rush fan and that is a GREAT song. The first stanza is awesome!

"Why try? I know why
This feeling inside me says it's time I was gone
Clear head, new life ahead
It's time I was king now, not just one more pawn"

That Rush song as well as times remembered mixed with a sense of accomplishment as a young student pilot on my first solo night flight after getting my license....priceless!

Both of those things come together to form the story behind my handle.

Crazy how they came up with the intro via hearing the Toronto Air Port calling signal..

I saw Rush in person on thier last tour b4 Niel passed away....he infuenced so many drummers and was just a machine as he played. It was glorious!

Has a drink in his hands every time you see him..
Lost his license in 1985 for life.. We'll just call him CPW
