Take two. Oh yeah, I’m a huge Jimmy Buffett fan too. Not the best singer but his songs and Caribbean vibe are just the ticket often to escape.
Try UB-40.

Well seeing as it was a little warm on the way home today…I just looped AC/DC Highway to HELL and Ring of Fire (Social Distortion version)….
I always loved UB40 , rat in the kitchen, red red wine. Also jimmy cliff, peter tosh, gladiators and bad brains

I'm a big Joe Jackson fan.
Early Oasis- 1994 “Definitely Maybe” and accompanying b-sides...
Im an early Britpop head- Stone Roses, Oasis, The Verve, etc.
Missing that one--- have "Be Here Now" (1995) and "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" (1997).

Switch those years up- What’s the Story is 1995 and Be Here Now was 1997. Definitely Maybe was their first and arguably, best (1994).
Gerry Rafferty. What a voice! So damned sad. Why are the really talented often so conflicted.
