Latest non-HK firearm you purchased....

It's an old concept. The original owner, has moved on to other cool stuff.
It's been quite awhile since any have been built. Supposed, only 100 30.06 guns were built. I've never heard a number on the .308 guns, but can't be too many more. I've pics of one .556 rifle, and 2 magnum rifles.

Yet another case where I wasn't really looking for one of these, but it was such a screaming deal I couldn't pass it up.

Christensen Arms Traverse rifle in .30 Nosler.

Very nice! You have a duty as an American to NOT pass up screaming deals, that protect your family 😉 ( that’s what I tell my wife) Plus it’s funnier than watching a 401k

I've had many Glocks over the last 25 years, but I've only ever bought one new at the gun shop. It was a 19X. At first, I had no interest in it. But I was looking for a new nightstand pistol and got to thinking that the 19X offered 19+1 capacity and made a nice platform for bump-in-the-night issues. So a local hole-in-the-wall shop had a sale where the 19X was actually below blue label. Don't know how he did it, didn't care. So I purchased it. That was a couple of years ago. It's proven to be a good purchase and has been on nightstand duty ever since. This year I picked up two more 19X pistols for HD duty. No, not a Glockoholic, but it made functional sense. My wife is quite familiar with firearms but isn't necessarily a 'gunny'. And she has occasional issues with grip strength. So it made sense to have pistols that she has access to for HD that have a very high capacity, thus hopefully negating the need for a reload. She can, but I wanted to stack the deck as much in her favor as she can. Since she also has some limitations that don't allow her to move quickly sometimes, I wanted platforms accessible to her around the home so that she doesn't have to try to get from one side of the home to the other to access a firearm. So I have a total of three 19X pistols for that purpose.

Last new purchase would be the S&W 380EZ for her personal pistol. She has a CCW and this or the LCP are the pistols she carries.

I picked it up Tuesday from a private party. I just finally unboxed everything this morning. Previous owner is moving overseas. He liquidated the entire kit down to reloading and cleaning supplies. I was toying with the idea of a long range set-up, but hadn't really comitted. He sold the entire package for less than half of what it all would have cost had I bought it all separately. Merry Christmas to me!

Another Pawn Shop Score..
May have given away a secret about those places..

I meant they never have anything worth a darn & want more than new

Glad some body can find some deals... I just about never get a deal on anything I want. I'm usually up to my neck in a bidding war or having to use the buy it now at some inflated price. I guess that old quote is true... a fool and their money are soon parted.

I've had some incredible pawn shop scores the past couple years. HK MP-5SD stick magazines for $25, Nazi marked Walther PP (shop didn't know what they had), West German P-226 for cheap.......

That's SICK and a smoking deal !

I just bought a HENRY BIG BOY All Weather .357/38 in case I need to (ex) spend....some ammo in a hurry when SHTF.

The Glock 24 came with the case & three magazines = 2 10s & 1 15 leo marked
My #1 pawn shop score was the P7M8 with the mill mark for $227
They didn't know what they had, I had a HUGE smile that day for sure

I used to go to several pawn shops in Louisville every Saturday when a range trip or gunshow wasn't happening

The seller of the MCR-200, just sold me his remaining complete rifle, minus a couple small parts. When it rains.....

It is not a new purchase, but I received it back yesterday. It has taken several months to be engraved then sent to Fords for a renickle. Second generation Colt with 45 ACP and 45 Colt cylinders. Christmas Joy.
